He further assists clients with streamlining facility documentation processes, which decreases execution costs as well as the duration of fund formation. Zac Barnett brings more than two decades of experience in the fund-finance space to his work at FFP, with efforts that have drawn praise from the Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg, Private Equity International and other prominent publications. He has also received honors from Chambers USA and IFLR1000 Americas.
Mr. Barnett is an internationally recognized fund finance, private equity, and commercial lending lawyer who spent 17 years at Mayer Brown, LLP. During his time there, he represented both lenders and borrowers in connection with various private equity, debt, private credit, and hedge fund financing, including many large and complex transactions.
Zac Barnett graduated from Chicago’s Northwestern University School of Law and holds a marketing degree from Elmhurst College. He regularly expands his professional knowledge and network by attending events hosted by the Fund Finance Association, the CFA Institute, PECFOA and other industry organizations.
